Heat oven to 180 °C.
Rinse lentils under cold running water. Place them in a large pot and pour 600 ml of water. Cook for 12–15 mins until done.
Drain on a sieve and let them cool down a bit. Put in a bowl and mix with finely chopped onions, marjoram, salt, wholemeal flour, oats, and eggs.
Stir until a thick but juicy mixture emerges. If too running, add more flour. If too thick and dry, pour some milk or add an egg.
Form 10 to 12 burgers.
Grab an oven-safe skillet and heat two spoons of sunflower oil. Fry the burgers for 2–3 mins from each side.
Put the skillet with the burgers into the oven and bake until golden for 10–11 mins in 180 °C.
